India has one of the largest numbers of retail outlets in the world. There are 12 million retail outlets, 300 new malls, 1500 supermarkets, 325 departmental stores. The market is growing at an exponential rate. By 2010 there will be 20 lakh new jobs. The market needs trained professionals as there is a huge gap between the demand & supply. MIE plans to bridge this gap by providing required skills to the youth followed by jobs.

Assessment
Internal assessment will be conducted at the following intervals:
- On completion of 25% of the curriculum
- On completion of 50% of the curriculum
- On completion of 75% of the curriculum
Final assessment will be conducted at the end of the teaching term and certificates will be awarded to qualifying candidates |
